Rewards

Our Rewards system was relaunched in 2022-2023 following consultation with students, parents and carers and staff.

Our Senior Student Rewards Committee presented ideas and suggestions to the King James's Foundation Trust who generously agreed to support our plans which means that students have more opportunities to be rewarded and celebrated!

Every lesson, students can win ACE vouchers: these can be saved up or spent straight away, at our ACE Rewards shop. 

Every fortnight we have Marvellous Mondays: this is where the students who have recieved the most achievement points for the two weeks previously, are entered into a prize draw to win a voucher. One student from each year group wins. 

Every half term, we have Tutee of the Month: Tutors nominate their student of the (half) term and all are entered into a prize draw to win a voucher. One student from each year group wins. Everyone nominated is invited for an early break and breakfast.

At Christmas and the end of the academic year, Rewards assemblies take place: students are recognised by form tutors, Pastoral Leaders, their teachers and the Principal, for excellence.

Throught the year, ACE Challenges and House Competitions are run and students can recieve prizes. All are recognised with achievement points for their engagement. 

Annual Rewards Experiences are organised to recognise students who have applied effort and achieved during the academic year.
