Thank you for taking an interest in our school. 

King James's School is an extremely popular and successful 11-16 mixed comprehensive, serving south-eastern Huddersfield and surrounding villages.

The essence of our school is built around three Hs:

• our distinguished History; values and traditions dating back more than 400 years
• our Holistic provision, which develops students both academically and pastorally; a curriculum that promotes social mobility, high-quality teaching with a focus on academic rigour and a strong extra-curricular offer

We consider ourselves to be an academic and inclusive school, in which we challenge and support every one of our students to make the best possible progress irrespective of their starting point.
